MINI IMPLANTS
An aid for treatment
The mini-implants are used in the treatments for anchorage, which is very important in Orthodontics because in most of our cases we use posterior teeth to anchor and move the anterior ones.
They are also known as temporal anchorage mechanism because they can be removed when they have completed their function.
The mini-implants are easy to put, we use very Little anesthesia to place them, and it is not necessary to make any incision because they are directly inserted into the bone through the gum. This procedure takes 3 to 4 minutes.
Taking them off is neither complicated, a little anesthetic gel is enough to take them out painlessly.
