Lingual Orthodontics is another alternative method for the orthodontic treatment in an adult patient. In this cases, the braces are placed behind the teeth, providing a very aesthetic look.
However it can be uncomfortable for the patient, since the tongue is constantly in direct contact with the braces. The treatment time is increased and the mechanic it´s a bit more complicated than with traditional braces.
